About this role

The Senior Geospatial Machine Learning Engineer is a pivotal role within our innovative, technology-driven organization. This role blends expertise in Geographical Information Systems (GIS), remote sensing, and machine learning, to interpret complex spatial data and drive transformative solutions. Technical Requirements

Minimum requirements:

●BS (or higher) in Computer Science, or a related field

●Hands-on experience with GIS tools (e.g., Apache Sedona, ArcGIS, GeoPandas, QGIS).

●Hands-on experience with remote sensing tasks such as segmentation and feature extraction over GeoTiff, HDF, or Zarr.

●3+ years of experience writing production code in C/C++, Java/Scala, Python or other major programming languages.

●3+ years of hands-on experience with popular Machine Learning/AI software (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn).

Preferred requirements:

●Basic understanding of scalable data systems (e.g., Spark/DeltaLake/Databricks) and cloud storage (e.g., AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage)

●Hands-on experience with cloud APIs (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
