The Finance Department provides financial insight and guidance to various departments across the company and informs decision making of the Executive Team.

This key role will execute sales and marketing analysis that supports the company’s financial growth and profit requirements. This vital team member will develop a deep understanding our topline performance and help ensure we meet and exceed our plan. This includes analyzing sales drivers and marketing programs. The successful candidate will be a pro-active business partner with department heads to ensure decision-making drives business results through sound assessments and strategic insights.

The Senior Financial Analyst (Sales and Marketing Analysis) will have a proven ability to manage multiple analytical projects in a fast-paced work environment and be able to integrate data, tools, processes, and systems from different areas (Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance) within the company and ensure effective deployment of this intelligence into the business.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Provide analytical support in the planning and execution of pricing actions
• Supports the Manager of Finance, VP of Finance and CFO with metrics and analytics and business insight for quarter end external conference calls and presentations
• Marketing campaign analysis
• Ensure effective utilization, translation and integration of consumer and marketplace knowledge to provide insights that drive business strategy and tactics
• Develops and builds fact-based and performance-based analysis to determine viability and profitability of business cases

• Provide action-oriented analytics to business leadership for corporate and concept level decision making. Areas of focus include:

  • Sales forecasting

  • Menu price optimization

  • Menu mix and COGS usage analysis

  • Marketing campaign analysis

• Menu price optimization

• Provide consultation and perspective to the corporate leadership of Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance for key decisions with significant volume, profit, and consumer/marketplace implications
• Develop strong cross-functional relationships and ensure integration of knowledge across key functional groups to yield critical business insights
• Develop analysis and provide insights around the risk and upside of potential marketing initiatives
• Sales forecasting
• Ensure effective utilization, translation and integration of consumer and marketplace knowledge to provide insights that drive business strategy and tactics
• Deliver clear and concise reporting on week, period, quarter, and annual to the leadership team.

Education:

• Required Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Math, or Economics.

Skill / Experience:

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to delegate and manage multiple priorities while building positive relationships with internal and external business partners.
• Preferred experience in the Restaurant Industry (i.e., Casual Dinning).
• Superb communication skills, both written and oral, as well as the ability to express complex ideas in a concise manner to all levels (internal and external).
• Preferred experience with turning data into insights and presenting recommendations
• Preferred experience with Forecasting (i.e., New Product/Restaurant), Pricing and Marketing Promotions modeling, Customer Loyalty and Ad-hoc analytics.
• Required advanced consulting skills: This individual must possess strong business acumen and superior quantitative skills.
• Required 3-5 years’ experience with a quantitative and qualitative analytical background.

Compensation Range: $76,000.00 - $104,500.00
