Senior Business Analyst Jobs

Position Summary:

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our functional business areas and the IT department. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze business needs, recommend appropriate system solutions, and ensure seamless communication between stakeholders. Serving as a liaison, you will collaborate closely with the IT technical team and external vendors to design, develop, and implement solutions that align with business requirements. Your role will contribute to the transformation of our Corporate Applications to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

Project Information:

This will not be one singular project, but multiple ongoing projects involving interfacing with various applications, including AWS, Oracle, InfoPro, and custom software projects, with a strong emphasis on billing and payments. Your role will encompass multiple special projects, contributing to a team that handles around $10 billion in annual transactions. The significance of this role is underlined by its high visibility and impact on the company's operations.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Leverage expertise in Oracle applications, especially in handling complex billing and payments processes
• Utilize a variety of documentation tools including Confluence, Visio, and Lucid to comprehensively document technical problems and solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-level solutions, working extensively with corporate applications including AWS, Oracle, InfoPro, and various other technologies
• Lead and manage multiple projects, demonstrating the ability to handle various special projects simultaneously
• Demonstrate exceptional SQL proficiency, rapidly formulating SQL queries without reliance on external technical assistance
• Engage in custom software projects, integrations, and utilize technologies such as Fargate for efficient project execution
• Assist quality assurance and control efforts through data analysis and profiling in pre- and post-implementation reviews

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in a business or technical analysis role
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Skilled in using Lucid, Visio or other similar tools
• Experience using Structured Query Language (SQL) for data analysis
• Good work history/tenure - MUST have
• Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with business and IT stakeholders, translating technical concepts into easily understandable terms

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience creating/maintaining technical documentation
• Business Analysis or Project Management Professional certification
• Experience with Change Management
• Experience working with programming languages

Note: the right candidate is an IT/Technical BA, not a Business/Finance BA

Pay:

• $70 / hr

Schedule:

• 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (AZ Time)
• Monday - Friday
