What you will do:

  • Maintain a close understanding of business risks and opportunities
  • Perform ad hoc special analysis projects (i.e. profitability analysis of products & services, KPI reporting, external competitive analysis)
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships across the business
  • Provide input through business modeling and pro-forma analyses to support strategic decision-making in day-to-day operations
  • Work closely with People Operations to manage headcount forecast
  • Develop and maintain department-level financial reporting
  • Work side by side with accounting team on topics such as close assistance, variance analysis & reporting
  • Play a lead role in developing annual financial plan and managing ongoing forecast updates, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow modeling

What you will bring:

  • Expert level in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with proven ability to perform independent research and apply critical thinking
  • Detail-oriented individual with tremendous amount of intellectual curiosity
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required. An MBA is a plus.
  • Netsuite experience is a plus
  • Minimum 3-5 years' work experience in financial planning or sales analysis/operations experience and in roles requiring problem solving/analytic skills, project management and presentation skills required
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high growth environment
  • Proven ability to take on multiple projects at once and work through ambiguous requirements
  • Must show initiative, be hands-on, work well both independently on projects or as part of a team
  • Ability to develop moderately complex financial and operational models
  • Ability to analyze a significant amount of data and synthesize into actionable information and insights
  • Strong understanding of accounting principals
