Senior Medical Device Engineer
Ayuda Medical is seeking a Senior Medical Device Engineer to help develop our wearable Class II device to prevent opioid overdose.
We are seeking an experienced candidate with a track-record of successful medical device product development, including:
●Having served as Lead Engineer, PrincipalDeveloper or Product Owner on one or more projects for medical health wearable devices
●Able toworkindependently and be the primary person responsible for device performance.
●Able to manage the QA process and streamline regulatory compliance through stages of device development
General Experience Desired
●BS or better in Mechanical, Electrical, or Biomedical Engineering or related discipline
●At least 10 years’ experience in product development
●Experience in the medical device industry, developing Class II Medical Devices preferred.
●Experience in a small company or consulting environment where resourcefulness, and personal responsibility are paramount
●Experience integrating PPG sensors and oximetry algorithms for Heart Rate, Heart Rate Variability, Oxygenation and/or Respiration Rate.
●Experience with multi-sensor data (e.g. Accelerometer, Gyroscope, PPG), sensor fusion and evaluation
●Experience writing requirements, verification plans, protocols, conducting verification testing, and compiling reports is preferred.
●Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in written and spoken English
●Ability to work effectively remotely both individually and within a team
●Experiencemanaging contract developers.
Specific Project Goals
●Experience establishing and maintaining medical device quality controls, testing and compliance.
●Hardware and software development for Class II medical devices, through commercialization.
●Develop and implement novel signal processing algorithms on device.

●Remote Position: The candidate does not need to live in Seattle, but does need to be US-based.
