Building an entirely new end-to-end logistics infrastructure, powered by the latest technology and designed for the modern era of shopping, Veho is reinventing shipping, and all parts of the post-purchase experience as we know it. By removing the pain from delivery and returns, Veho is creating powerful opportunities for brands to engage and build deep loyalty with their customers like never before.

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven professional to join Veho as the Senior Director of Warehouse Process Improvement. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving process improvement initiatives across our network of over 50 warehouses. You will play a critical role in optimizing warehouse operations, enhancing efficiency, increasing capacity, and helping us continue to deliver industry-leading service levels at the highest quality.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Operational Oversight: Provide leadership and guidance to warehouse managers and teams in implementing process improvement initiatives. Collaborate closely with Product and Tech teams to ensure effective implementation of new processes and systems.
  • Change Management: Lead change management efforts by developing and implementing training programs, communication plans, and support mechanisms for warehouse staff. Drive employee engagement and adoption of new processes, systems, and tools.
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy roadmap for warehouse process improvement aligned with the company's growth and profitability goals. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Data-Driven Analysis: Utilize data analytics tools and metrics to evaluate performance and identify areas of improvement. Conduct root cause analysis to pinpoint inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas requiring attention. Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress and outcomes.
  • Process Analysis and Optimization: Assess current warehouse processes, workflows, and systems to identify opportunities for improvement. Implement lean methodologies, Six Sigma principles, and other process improvement methodologies to streamline operations, eliminate waste, and enhance overall performance.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including Product and Tech teams to ensure alignment, communication, and effective execution of process improvement initiatives. Build strong relationships and promote a culture of collaboration and teamwork, partnering with Product teams to share roadmaps.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish performance monitoring mechanisms to track the impact of process improvement initiatives. Generate regular reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate progress, achievements, and areas requiring attention to executive management.
  • Best Practices Implementation: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in warehouse operations and process improvement. Evaluate and recommend innovative solutions, automation technologies, and software systems to optimize warehouse processes.

What you bring:

  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and influence teams at all levels.
  • Bachelor's, or Master’s, degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, business administration, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven and results-oriented approach.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), automation technologies, and software applications relevant to warehouse operations.
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role overseeing process improvement initiatives across multiple warehouses or distribution centers.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, supply chain management, and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
  • Ideal candidate will be located in the NE, Mid-Atlantic, or Atlanta with 50% business travel.
  • Demonstrated success in driving operational efficiency, productivity, and cost savings through process optimization.
  • Change management experience, with the ability to lead and inspire teams through process changes and organizational transformations.
  • Experience with data analytics tools and metrics for performance measurement and improvement.
