Job Description

Position: Healthcare Process Improvement Consultant

Location: Largo, MD

Duration: 6 Month

Start Date: September

: Our healthcare client is seeking a Sr. Healthcare Process Improvement Consultant to join their team to support a system wide implementation of a new whole hospital approach to ED throughput action plan. This professional will be responsible for crafting and maintaining related project management suite of materials (project plan, communication plan, risk log and stakeholder analysis), supporting implementation planning and execution through design session co-facilitation and 1:1 support to local leaders; facilitating creation of protocols/policies that bridge gaps in response measures; and support review of process measures to support how measures of success are used to maintain momentum and staff morale.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree highly preferred
  • Healthcare experience required
  • 5+ years of Performance/Process Improvement experience
  • Experience with project management within process improvement initiatives, stakeholder communication & relationship building.
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification

Responsibilities:

  • Leads and/or facilitates process improvement teams to achieve significant quality improvement and business results in a manner which gives them ownership for changes.
  • Actively support implementation of a new whole hospital approach to ED throughput action plan
  • Facilitates creation of protocols/policies that bridge gaps in response measures
  • Supports implementation planning and execution through design session co-facilitation and 1:1 support to individual local leaders
