Job Description
We Are Hiring:
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday
  • Department: Bed Boad Transport - Pharmacy Services
  • Location: Partially Remote / Travel Required
What You Will Do:
Ascension is currently seeking a Senior Director of Pharmacy Operations to join our team! In this role, you will serve as the national expert for pharmacy services and programs across the organization. Other responsibilities include:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to facilitate the reduction of pharmaceutical cost in services and programs, while maintaining high levels of quality, service, and safety.
  • Determine and support any strategy for pharmacy services and programs for the organization including key stakeholder relations, coordination, contracting, corporate-level operations, policy and procedure development, program enhancement/optimization, and reporting.
  • Ensure that policies and procedures are developed and implemented according to organizational, regional, national, state, and federal requirements and guidelines and are approved by the institution's legal department.
  • Assess opportunities for cost savings and business improvements in various aspects of pharmacy services and program utilization, including opportunities for cost savings and system improvements to yield higher compliance.
What You Will Need:
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
  • Pharmacist obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed.
Education:
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy required.
Work Experience:
  • 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
  • 10 years of experience preferred.
  • 7 years of experience required.
