As the Senior Director of Logistics, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient, cost-effective, and timely transportation of products from both domestic and international origins to our designated distribution centers. Responsibilities:

·Develop and implement a comprehensive logistics strategy ensuring alignment with overall business goals and objectives.

·Transportation management:Manage and optimize inbound logistics operations, including carrier selection, route and mode planning, and freight negotiation.Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and industry best practices.Identify opportunities for cost reduction and service enhancement.

·Actively manage and/or lead strategic sourcing initiatives to support import and domestic freight lanes to all distribution centers

·Continuously evaluate, analyze, and optimize inbound freight network/lane design.

·Compliance and risk management: Stay up-to-date with industry-specific regulations, customs requirements, and quality standards related to the wine and spirits industry. Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, safety, and environmental regulations.

·Team leadership and development: Build and lead a high-performing logistics team, providing coaching, mentoring, and guidance to drive professional growth and engagement. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.

·Performance measurement and reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track logistics performance and operational efficiency. Analyze data and provide regular reports to executive leadership, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

·Continuous Process Improvement:Evaluate, assess, and refine Logistics process and policies on an ongoing basis

·Vendor and partner management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with logistics service providers, suppliers, and other external partners. Conduct regular performance evaluations and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and service quality.

·Manage the implementation of improvement initiatives by working closely with cross-functional stakeholders using project management methodologies.

Qualifications:

·Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.Master’s degree a plus.

·10+ years of experience in domestic and international supply chain logistics, wine and spirits industry experience a plus.

·In-depth knowledge of supply chain principles, logistics operations, and transportation management systems.

·Demonstrated ability to develop and execute logistics strategies aligned with overall business objectives.

·Excellent leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.

·Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

·Effective communication and negotiation abilities, with exceptional capacity to collaborate cross-functionally and build relationships with external partners.

·Experience in business process improvement, lean six sigma, or similar.

·Experience in strategic sourcing.

·Proficiency in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, data analytics, and supply chain planning software, in addition to Microsoft Office products

·Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) is a plus.

·Ability to read, write, and speak fluently in Spanish, Italian, and/or French is a plus.
