The Senior Director, Field Operations is a key role leading the SquareTrade Field Operations team. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, this role is pivotal in collaborating with key stakeholders including, but not limited to, the company’s growth strategy and channel management team, channel marketing, executive leadership, and SquareTrade’s retail and mobile operator channel partners to drive key results in North America.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Influence - develop strong relationships with key partner HQ and store operations stakeholders to drive mindshare by being a thought leader and strategic partner.
  • Management – People and team management.
  • Driving Results - Communicate key partner strategies and initiatives to the company’s national Field Ops team and provide sound leadership to achieve desired performance and behavioral goals.
  • Strategy Development - in partnership with channel leaders, define the right priorities, objectives and tactics to support the partner growth strategy.
  • Selling & Stakeholder Management – identify opportunities for growth, build selling stories to activate such opportunities, and align with the right stakeholders to achieve.

  • The ability to work collaboratively in a highly cross-functional environment, with stakeholders ranging from C-level to front-line employees.
  • The energy and initiative to recognize tasks that need to be accomplished and to take action to fill gaps where necessary.
  • Is a strong strategic and analytical thinker.
  • Listens to and fully involves others in team decisions and actions; values and uses individual differences and talents.
Qualifications
  • Available for travel as needed, up to 40% of the time
  • Advanced user of PowerPoint, Excel and common business intelligence/analytics tools.
  • Previous experience leading and motivating a national team.
  • 10+ years of work experience in areas related to retail channels, client relationship building, and sales operations with progressively increasing responsibility.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills + superior analytical, communication, customer service and management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
