TITLE: Senior Data Analyst


REPORTS TO: COO/CFO


SALARY: Competitive salary commensurate with experience


POSITION/TYPE: Exempt


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in data analytics, data science, statistics, or a related discipline
  • Analytical skills with an excellent grasp of spreadsheet-based tools, such as Excel or Google Sheets
  • Demonstrated ability to apply data analytics to meet business needs
  • Experience using data warehouse platforms and data visualization / report writing tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Domo
  • 5 or more years of progressive experience in data analytics
  • Must be able to think strategically and at the same time be willing to “get in the weeds and get your hands dirty” when it comes to modeling and visualization creation.
  • Deep understanding of data models and their implications to data analytics

Purpose and Value to the Team:


The Senior Data Analyst will assist firm-wide operations by leading data analytics efforts and our newly established data warehouse/report writing platform. This is a new position with high visibility and an excellent opportunity to make an impact on day one.


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Project lead for the completion and final integration of our new data warehouse/report writing platform (partnering with a leading consulting firm)
  • Function as a business partner and data solutions expert for team leads
  • Drive improvement firm-wide through applied data analytics
  • Maintain and improve existing reporting, drive ad hoc reporting
  • Develop and implement data solutions for the automation of existing or new processes
  • Produce dashboards with KPI’s and other key management reporting
  • Must be willing to be hands on. Not only will you define the go forward strategy, but if needed you will build the structures and visualizations for the firm.
  • Work closely with each department to understand key processes and apply analytic expertise to improve decision making as well as improve the efficiency of processes
