Job Description

Job Title: Senior Data Analyst

Location: Chicago, IL, 60691(ONSITE)

Duration: FULL-TIME

Senior Data Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Create flexible tooling for end-users and developers to manage, analyze, and wrangle data
  • Work with Infrastructure Engineers to create robust data pipelines
  • Partner with Analytics to create a dimensional model for data warehousing and provide data for dashboards and reporting
  • Work with developers to design data models for OLTP applications
  • Develop and Support ad-hoc request from business
  • Curate a large body of reports in internal reporting application, designing new SQL queries per business requirements and updating existing reports
  • Collaborate with stakeholders such as business leaders, project leads to gather data requirements and deliver projects on time.
  • Develop and deploy stable, scalable ETL programs to move data between systems

Requirements

  • Very strong / Expert in SQL, writing complex queries for reporting and maintaining database objects
  • Systems thinking
  • Worked with Git or version control and Devops tools
  • Experience in Python or other scripting languages
  • Experience in developing data pipelines and familiar with Cloud technologies (Data Factory, Snowflakes etc.)
  • Collaborative work environment
  • Experience with Apache Airflow and DBT is plus
  • Knowledgeable about C# or other OOP language
  • Advanced knowledge of data architecture patterns for data warehousing, and familiarity with data modeling for applications

BA/BS/MS in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, Statistics or other technical fields.
