The Senior Commercial Analyst is broadly responsible for supporting activities related to the client queries of the Evaluate Pharma platforms. Objectives are achieved through an expert understanding of data analysis, Evaluate’s various offerings, client needs, and pharmaceutical commercial activities.


This role is for an experienced analyst who seeks to utilize their knowledge and skills to directly support clients in their own research and use of Evaluate Pharma data and content. In addition, the analyst will provide support for product development, contributing actionable ideas to the product management team based on analysis of queries.


Role Responsibilities


Ask the Analyst-90%


  • Conduct primary and secondary research and perform data analysis as requested
  • Responsible for addressing client queries received through Ask the Analyst (ATA) with timely and relevant data curated from the Evaluate platforms as well as through secondary research. This is not client services – the queries will be addressed through research and analysis.
  • Assist in RFP creation as requested
  • Review and analyze ATA and company data quarterly to draw and present insights/ recommendations to key internal stakeholders
  • Participate in client calls where analyst input is required as an expert
  • Maintain impeccable reputation of Ask the Analyst team by addressing client queries in a timely and professionally manner


Product Development Support- 10%


  • Utilize industry knowledge and experience to support product team in development. Examples include providing actionable recommendations based on queries and helping to review new product initiatives.
  • And other duties as assigned.


Requirements


  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team both in the office and off site
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills
  • Experience of collecting and curating quality data from multiple sources to produce robust and defendable conclusions.
  • Substantial previous experience in market and drug analysis
  • Strong intrapersonal skills with a high level of comfort in defending methodologies and conclusions
  • Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organizational, time management and priority setting skills, and the flexibility to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Deep knowledge of the drug development process and associated pharmaceutical markets
  • At least 5 years’ experience at a pharmaceutical/biotech company or healthcare consulting/research firm
  • Ability to think critically, work independently, and follow instructions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences/Biomedical sciences is preferred, but other degrees will be considered

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
