I. Job Function Summary
Coordinate procurement and distribution of materials, parts, equipment and supplies
Ii. Job Duties / Responsibilities

• Analyze the requirement of commodity, including specifications, preferred
• Coordinate all activities related to procurement of commodity

Supplier and date

• Investigate/Interview potential suppliers
• Negotiate lowest possible cost balanced against optimum quality and schedule needs
• Solicit and evaluate proposals
• Maintains timely control of orders, amendments and shipping notices
• Assure that the commodity is delivered on time, at negotiated price and meets quality standards
• Confers with suppliers concerning late delivers and/or quality issues

Requirements
IV. Preferred Qualifications (Experience, Education or Certification)

• One -two years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of
• Two or Four year degree

education and experience

• Experience in dealing with external business relationships
• Competencies in planning, customer service, negotiations and analytics
• Working knowledge of ERP system and BPCS softwar
