Procurement/Supply Chain - Buyer Lv1 Job - Remote | Wfh

Are you looking to kick-start your career in procurement and supply chain? We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our dynamic team as a Procurement/Supply Chain Assistant. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our global category team and contributing to the success of our sourcing activities across multiple countries and business units.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the global category team to provide valuable inputs for category strategy development and execution.
Maintain strong relationships with regional suppliers and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and smooth operations.
Assist in the selection of suppliers for procurement of various materials, goods, services, and supplies, following established procedures.
Execute sourcing events and contribute to the implementation of regional and global sourcing decisions.
Handle purchase orders and payment processes through our streamlined system.
Proactively follow up with cost centers to address any invoice-related questions.
Resolve issues with minimal supervision, escalating complex matters to the appropriate team members.
Qualifications
Experience Level: Entry Level
Minimum 2 Years Of Relevant Experience Preferred.
Education: High School Diploma.
Skills
Strong interest in supply chain and procurement processes.
Excellent communication skills to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in procurement activities.
Ability to solve problems independently while seeking guidance when needed.
Familiarity with SAP applications and other procurement software is a plus.
Passion for continuous learning and growth in the field of procurement and supply chain management.
