The Senior Brand Manager, Candy is responsible for driving the delivery of end-to-end in year and strategic growth plans. Working with cross-functional and agency teams, you will drive and implement Mondelēz Candy strategy across Sour Patch Kids and Swedish Fish brands to achieve growth objectives including market share, revenue, profit, and ROI.


How You Will Contribute


Working with other internal & external stakeholders, you will develop and drive priorities to enable consumer & customer centric brand growth. This is an end-to-end role with responsibilities spanning commercial and brand building/equity activity.


  • This role will be based out of East Hanover, New Jersey in a 2-3 day a week in-office hybrid setting.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead Sour Patch Kids “Mischief for Change” annual scholarship program.
  • Manage and develop one Senior Associate Brand Manager.
  • Lead Integrated Business Planning (IBP) for Candy, partnering with key cross functional partners to ensure plan delivery over the Annual Contract and Strategic Plan horizon.
  • Drive brand portfolio management and lead commercialization/launch for renovation, PPA, and business critical projects.
  • Lead the Swedish Fish brand in an end-to-end capacity, owning growth strategy and all commercial and brand building activities for the brand.
  • Drive organic social strategy for Sour Patch Kids and Swedish Fish, with external agency partner.
  • Lead digital commerce strategy and DTC strategy.
  • Lead channel/customer strategy and PPA


What You Will Bring

  • Managing a brand P&L and business objectives
  • Leading and influencing internal cross-functional & external agency teams.
  • Developing a seamless consumer experience & creating a holistic brand ecosystem.
  • Consumer behavior, preferably in the consumer goods sector in matrix environment.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Analytics and creativity to continuously review, evolve, and optimize plans to the consumer, category, and customer
  • Communicating effectively, verbally and in writing, and executive presentation skills.


Required Experience:


  • Brand management and consumer marketing expertise
  • Digitally savvy & data driven mindset.
  • 5+ years of experience increasing leadership responsibility in CPG marketing with a mix of commercial and equity/brand building experience.
  • Experience in a matrix environment with multiple stakeholders, with demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills.
  • General Management and P&L decision making perspective.
  • Experience making strategic and tactical decisions utilizing fact-based data.
  • 3+ years people management and cross functional team leadership.


Education:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing; MBA preferred.


Travel requirements:


  • Business travel as needed.
