Job Description

As the Senior Billing Specialist at this global law firm, you will be managing the completion of invoice tracking, creation and editing alongside administrative functions within the accounting team. Your expert communication skills and previous billing experience will refine the billing process of this busy team. The desired professional possesses a minimum of five years of legal billing experience with excellent time management skills.

About the Job:

  • Prepare billing reports and ad hoc reports as needed.
  • Prepare pre-bills, revise bills, troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Provide top-tier customer service to inbound requests, questions and inquiries from internal contacts as well as external clients.
  • Organize the billing process through billing software programs, providing correct submittal documentation as needed.
  • Compile, edit and upload invoices accurately, staying attuned to deadlines.
  • Effectively monitor proformas by addressing possible unresolved items on client accounts.
  • Own tasks start-to-finish with flexibility to assist across a team.

  • Efficient. You enjoy working with deadlines and always complete tasks in a timely fashion.
  • Tech Savvy. You are well versed in MS Office and working across spreadsheets. Prior experience with Elite preferred.
  • Team-minded. You can work independently and across a team seamlessly, always communicating in a clear and effective manner.
  • Experienced. You have five (5) or more years of law firm billing experience.
  • Discrete. You strive for perfection in your work and are confidential with sensitive information.
  • Service oriented. You always put the client first and deliver top service.
