What you will do :


PGIM Real Estate is seeking to hire a Senior Associate, Strategy to support the firm's U.S. Real Estate Debt & Agriculture (USD&A) business. The USD&A COO team support PGIM Real Estate's U.S. Debt & Agriculture CEO and leadership team in developing and executing strategic initiatives around the business’ most critical priorities. This role will be an integral part of the USD&A COO team, and work on a wide variety of initiatives to move our business forward. This includes, leading and/or assisting with performing market intelligence, setting, and executing business strategy, and optimizing functional capabilities.


Effective execution of this role will require a natural curiosity for continuous learning, excellent analytical and critical reasoning skills, a high attention to detail, and the ability to structure and visualize solutions. The ideal candidate should be an exceptional and persuasive communicator, with the ability to influence, gain consensus and frame compelling solutions

This role can work remote/virtual but if within a commutable distance of a PGIM Real Estate office, there may be in-office days required.


What you can expect :


  • Assist in formulating and presenting strategic recommendations to USD&A’s executive team, including our heads of business units and functional groups
  • Assist in development of business intelligence frameworks, operating model design, and platform optimization solutions required to meet business profitability and efficiency targets
  • Assist with development of structured storyboards and presentations, clearly articulating facts and perspectives
  • Drive a wide range of strategic initiatives across USD&A business units, leading or assisting in developing solutions to the challenges that key stakeholders face
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure initiatives are managed on-time and within their defined scope; Take accountability for outputs, and assigned strategic initiatives


What you will bring:


  • Bachelor’s degree with strong academic credentials, required
  • Consistent track record of participating in designing strategic operating model frameworks, including value-chains, capability maps, performance/operation metrics, etc.; Experience with participating in optimization of organizational structures, and processes to achieve business objectives and performance indicators
  • 6 plus years of experience consulting with major corporations on external- and internal-facing strategic initiatives, required
  • Takes personal responsibility for managing and executing initiatives, outputs, and outcomes
  • Capable of working on multiple and overlapping tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment; Attitude of "rolling-up-sleeves/"getting-in-the-weeds"
  • Ability to assist in executing product positioning, competitive intelligence, organic and inorganic growth, and partnership opportunities that align with USD&A strategic objectives
  • Ability to capture and synthesize meeting agendas, takeaways, follow-ups, and decisions

  • Interest in long-term strategic thinking, and implementation of competitive, business and operating model enhancement recommendation
  • Clarifies expected work standards and outcomes; Maintains a schedule, calendar, checklist, etc. to ensure that small but important details are not overlooked.
  • Experience analyzing disparate internal and external research sources and translating into concrete and actionable insights and recommendations
  • Demonstrated discretion and professionalism when working on sensitive business and organizational issues; impeccable judgment to handle sensitive information

Note : Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $168,000 to $200,000 . Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
