Expected Starting Salary Range: 16.27 - 19.32
Starbucks Barista and Cashier Relief
Rotating
The Weekend shift for this position is still 6:00am - 2:30pm
All job flows are subject to change, and any/all employees may be asked to perform additional duties as needed. Your schedule is not guaranteed to be the same every week, so check your schedule weekly.
Daily Expectations
a. Artificial or painted nails.
b. Facial piercings - may have a tiny nose STUD only - no hoops.
c. Earrings larger than a quarter - they must be under a hairnet
d. Bracelets, watches, fit-bits etc. (Exception is medical bracelet)
e. Gum Chewing
f. Headphones or earbuds
g. Cell phone usage while working
All Cleaning assignments and closing procedures must be completed daily
Responsibilities:
o Arrive in Starbucks Station: Begin brewing Teas and Coffees.
§ While waiting for them to brew, walk out in front of your station, look in as if you are a customer. Is it neat and clean? Would you want to purchase food from this location? If not, FIX IT! J
o Go to cash room and get a bank for the day - verify the funds
o Finish prepping the Starbucks station for opening.
o Open Station promptly at 6:30 and Provide high level of Customer Service:
§ Greet the customers - Provide top quality Customer Service - Limit personal conversations
§ Back up the cashier as needed
§ Production of beverages
§ Keep the pastry case clean -
o Bag any pastries not sale ready.
§ Stock Bakery Case
o Clean up you work area, restock and sign off your register
o If not needed to work the salad bar, work on Cleaning and organizing in your area. Keeping things neat, clean , sanitized and uncluttered.
o Take drawer to cash room - count down drawer and process following all the cashier guidelines.
o Clock out and go home.
Arrive to work on time and in proper neat, clean, uniform with hair properly restrained.

o Remember cell phone usage is not allowed while on the clock.

Be courteous to your team members:

o Please keep emergency bathroom breaks as short as possible.

- Arrive to work on time and in complete neatly pressed/unwrinkled uniform, including: Hat or hairnet with all hair properly restrained, clean apron on, and clearly visible ID badge. If you need to wear a long sleeve shirt, it must be solid black or white and must be worn under your uniform shirt. No coats or jackets unless it is a CCHMC logoed jacket.
- Arrive ready to focus on customer's/guest's needs while providing excellent customer service, limiting conversations with coworkers in front of customers/guests.
- Follow CARES Promise behaviors, including: Greet, smile and say thank you - greet every customer with a friendly smile - always using please and thank you in your conversations.
- No personal items in work area. Purses, book bags, fanny packs etc. are not allowed in the work area and cannot be worn or kept at the work station.
- You may have a beverage with a lid UNDER your work station.
- None of the following is allowed...

- If you need to leave your work station, you must notify the coordinator or the retail manager on duty. This includes your 30 minute break.

- Ask their name for the order
- Manage the cueing of the cups.
§ Production of beverages
- Clean as you go (sweeping, wiping up spills etc.)
- Keep station neat, clean and organized - FREE OF CLUTTER
- Stock your area as supplies run low
- Pass out drinks via customer name not beverage type
§ Keep the pastry case clean -
- Wipe out case daily (more if needed)
- Clean glass front, shelves and top daily (more if needed)
- Keep uncluttered - No supplies piled on top.
o Bag any pastries not sale ready.
§ Stock Bakery Case
- Clean out pastry case and fill with packaged pastries, label date and rotate.
- Display fresh pastries daily rotate and refill as needed.
o Clean up you work area, restock and sign off your register

Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
