Senior Accounting Clerk Jobs

Summary
The primary purpose of the Sr. Accounting Clerk position is to process invoices and to research and resolve vendor inquiries.
Key Functions
Accurately enter, match invoices and credit memo
Maintain open lines for communication with vendors with credit/debit memo issues.
Research internal and external inquiries and provide feedback for resolution.
Open and scan incoming mail
Participate in professional development through attendance at professional development programs, educational activities, and review of current professional resources.
Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
Education
Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: Working towards or successful completion of a 4 year degree in a finance/accounting related field.
Experience
Required: Three years of clerical experience to include one year experience in an accounting environment.
Preferred Experience/Skills: Prior AP experience, Peoplesoft and Excel experience, detail oriented, strong communication skills, problem solving skills.
