MUJI U.S.A. seeks aSenior Accounting Associate, to support our Accounting team. This is a multi-faceted role that provides the opportunity to be involved in a variety of Accounting functions. If your experience and skill sets match our needs, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities will include:
- Store Petty Cash Reconciliations
- Store Cash Receipts Reconciliations
- Request and process W-9 forms from new vendors
- Prepare and gain approval for POs
- Stock Delivery Lists
- Sales Invoicing
- Sales Analysis Reports
- Develop and maintain financial databases
- Credit Card Reconciliations
- Approve and process wire transfer requests
- Recharge Invoicing
- Maintain and update general ledger and sales journal
- Monitor and support taxation requirements
- Wholesale Invoice Reconciliations
- Petty Cash Analysis
- Fixed Asset Journals for Depreciation
- Store Bank Reconciliations
- Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
- Stock Ledger Reconciliations
- Prepare for financial audit and coordinate the audit process
- Obtain approval to satisfy vendor statements
- Prepare and fact-check invoices before sending them to customers
- Prepare, fulfil and distribute checks
- Support subsidiaries as needed
- Stock Analysis Reports
- Scan, file and log accounting documents
- Journal Entries to the Accounting System
- Statement Reconciliations
- General Ledger Journals

Minimum Requirements
BS degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent combination of education and experience3 Years of Accounting experience
Bilingual in Japanese highly preferred (read/write)
