ABOUT THE ROLE:

The points below highlight the Sr Accountant duties:

• Prepares/reviews balance sheet reconciliations for Corporate and Holdings
• Assists with compiling and preparing analysis, schedules, and compiling data for the annual financial audit
• Prepares monthly journal entries as assigned
• Analyzes general ledger accounts
• Assists with compiling data for various tax filings as requested
• Provides intercompany coordination, review, and analysis
• Assists with US GAAP research of technical accounting positions for complex transactions

What projects will you work on in this role?

• You will assist with monthly Fixed Asset process, compile data to assist with various audit requests and prepares various ad hoc reports and analysis as requested.

Requirements:

• Experience in Customs Brokerage or Freight Forwarding
• Minimum 1 year of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from a 4-year college or university
