About the role:

We are looking for a Security Specialist to support continuous monitoring activities.

Location: U.S. Remote.

What you'll do:

• Review and update SA&A Documentation.
• Perform SA&A activities for new and existing IT Systems, including Cloud systems with various service models and deployment strategies.
• Provide technical, development, and Management expertise to execute the implementation of SA&A and Continuous Monitoring activities.
• Establish a consistent and repeatable process across the Chief Information Office organization.

What you'll need:

• Security Assessment & Authorization (SA&A) analysis.
• NIST Standards and Special Publications.
• FedRAMP requirements and compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 8 years of related experience. An additional 10 years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Microsoft Share point.

What's desired to have:

• Treasury and/or IRS experience.
• Federal security requirements (NIST and FedRAMP).
• Risk Management Framework for Information Systems and Organizations: A System Life Cycle Approach for Security and Privacy.
• Secure systems engineering.
• Experience in strategic planning and forecasting.
• Previous experience supporting a federal or government customer preferred.
• Federal risk analysis based on NIST 800-37, Rev 2, dated December 2018.
• Secure integrated network management.
