Salary
$17.40 - $ 20.17 starting, DOE!
Schedule
Monday - Friday; 10AM - 7PM

The Security Officer is responsible for providing quality physical security at our Auburn site. In coordination with the Security Supervisor, the Security Officer shall perform a variety of security related duties, assessing problem situations and exercising tact and judgment in bringing about the resolution of identified security risks. Our Security Officers provide security utilizing a 'hands-off' approach to our work, meaning we use communication and problem-solving to handle issues.
Specific Responsibilities
  • Reinforce agencys No Smoking policy.
  • Monitor driveways and parking areas for proper traffic control and parking rules.
  • Notify Facilities Manager of any unusual events that occur.
  • Establish a security presence at all times.
  • Escort patients to appointments as needed.
  • Perform security checks periodically throughout schedule shift ensuring doors, windows and gates are locked.
  • Circulate among patients, visitors and employees to preserve order and protect property.
Qualifications/Experience
Required Experience:
  • Available to work weekends and evenings as requested.
  • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • High school graduate or GED certificate/equivalent.
  • Current Guard Card issued by the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services required.
  • Current and in good standing: CDL, vehicle insurance and DMV printout.
  • Knowledge of safety practices including proper lifting techniques.
Prefered Qualifications
  • One year experience in the field of facility security.
  • Must have received or be willing to receive the COVID - 19 vaccine before date of hire to be considered for employment.
