As the Scrum Master - EDP you will lead cross-functional teams to ensure the highest value user stories are delivered meeting and exceeding expectations. You will be required to coach team(s) on Agile best practices, processes, and tools. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring teams are appropriately resourced, focused on the key priorities, and aligned between roadmaps to project objectives. The teams you will be supporting are the data teams migrating scalable Snowflake data models. You will be responsible for motivating and empowering collaborative teams to deliver quality, accurate, highly scalable data models into Snowflake that will impact our quest to Save Our Home Planet.

What You’ll Do
- Guides and coaches teams on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services
- Seek opportunities to implement improvements and efficiencies with processes, work with teams to continuously improve speed and efficiency
- Assist and collaborate with Product Owner with backlog management and provide coaching on agile product ownership best practices.
- Utilize JIRA/Azure DevOps to provide visibility to status metrics, predictability, quality, impediments, and dependencies, and progress to stakeholders
- Communicate and coordinate with multiple scrum teams and multiple stakeholders proactively and help to prioritize work based on business leads.
- Facilitates and supports all scrum events: Sprint planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective
- Removing impediments and coach teams on removing impediments
- Participate in and contribute to internal agile communities of practices and/or Scrum Master forums
- Strong communicator– You have an ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written, visual, and verbal format.
- Quick-thinking, hands-on, collaborative and a natural problem solver

- Strategic & Organized – able to put plans together and keep the team/project ahead of schedule. Reliable and punctual in scheduling.
- College degree required
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience as a Scrum Master
- Prior experience on scrum team and coaching development teams
- Certifications: Professional Scrum Master (PSM 1)
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and best practices
- Familiarity with SAFe
- Experience in managing the evolution of user stories, breaking down stories, eliciting clarification, and facilitating story refinement sessions
- Experience leading Agile adoption at the team level.
- Advanced knowledge and skill set with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
