ABOUT THE JOB

Our client is an exciting rapidly-growing agency currently working with an exciting YouTube Channel specialised on the Space & Science, Astronomy & Physics industries. They are currently on the lookout for an experienced Script Writer/Director to join their team and be responsible for the writing and editing of engaging, innovative and informative scripts for long-form YouTube videos. In this role you'll oversee the production of high-quality video content ensuring its high-standards in regards to information, entertainment and visuals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Keep updated with new research in the scientific field to include in new scripts ideas.
• Managing the production processes (pre-production, post-production and distribution)ensuring content is up-to-date for YouTube and social media platforms standards.
• Managing and developing innovative and engaging scripts for Youtube Videos - be responsible for the writing, editing and reviewing go these, ensuring accuracy and high standards.
• Produce and maintain an archive of storyboards and scripts to guide and direct the strategic production process.
• Lead the developed and execution of a video production schedule, ensuring projects are delivered in a timely manner and deadlines are always met.
• Be responsible for the daily research and brainstorm of video scripts ideas related to Space, Science, Physics, Astronomy and related fields.

MAIN REQUIREMENTS

• 4+ years’ experience in a writing position (specifically for long-forms videos)
• Excellent knowledge of Youtube content and production
• A Master/Postgraduate Degree in either Space Science, Astronomy, Physics or Engineering
• Exceptional writing and attention to detail skills
