Experiments will be performed at small-scale using flasks and 2L to 30L glass and stainless-steel bioreactors, as well as 200L single use bioreactors using batch and/or fed-batch processes. The candidate is also expected to assist cell culture and bacterial strategies and approaches to increase the yield of vaccine products. The mission of the MTech function is to deliver robust and efficient processes with associated knowledge to transfer to manufacturing.

KEY SKILLS

Operating small-scale (2L-30L) and large-scale (200L) bioreactors

Experiences WITH bacterial meningococcus system
