Position Title:Full Time Probationary K-12 School Psychologist


Location: Cheektowaga-Sloan Union Free School District


Salary/Pay Scale: Per the CSUFSD TAC Contract


The Successful Candidate Will


Provide direct and indirect support and interventions on behalf of all students and consult with teachers, families, and other school personnel to improve individual student progress in academics and behavior.


Responsibilities & Skills


  • Training in Crisis Prevention Intervention preferred
  • Experience facilitating CSE, CPSE, and 504 meetings
  • Experience writing behavioral intervention plans
  • Training and experience in Response to Intervention (RTI), progress monitoring and data collection related to multi-tiered interventions
  • Complete other duties as assigned
  • Experience in actively participating in child study/intervention team meetings which include the ability to collect and interpret student and classroom data related to educational progress
  • Knowledge in maintaining records of students' special education reports and services provided
  • Experience conducting psychological evaluations, functional behavioral assessments, and student observations
  • Experience working with children in grades K-12 with various abilities
  • Experience writing comprehensive psychological reports


Requirements


  • Experience in a K-12 setting, preferred
  • Ability to facilitate CSE, CPSE and 504 meetings and make decisions that are in the best interest of the students
  • Experience as a School Psychologist preferred
  • NYSED Certification as School Psychologist
