Summary Of Duties
Daily entry of all customer orders sent electronically, by fax, or other method. Acknowledge and file all purchase orders on the network. Print out all work orders necessary and place them with the product. Assist with administrative duties in the department.
Job Duties Include (but Not Limited To)

• Answers department telephone and responds to routine inquiries.
• Performs other duties and projects as defined by department manager.
• Backup for Scheduler/Planner
• Assist in performing cycle counts, month-end inventories, and annual physical inventories.
• Tag and identify material based on work orders.
• Basic filing of daily orders and all faxes; clearing files over certain periods of time.
• Enter orders sent via electronic data interchange (EDI), fax, or other method by various customers and acknowledge receipt of orders to allow customers adequate lead times and delivery date confirmation.

Minimum Job Requirements (but Not Limited To)
High School Diploma required, associate or bachelor's degree preferred. A combination of education and experience will be evaluated. Software applications needed in word processing, spreadsheet, and database management. Proficient in keyboarding, data entry, and office equipment such as photo copiers, telephone systems, fax machines, and printers. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with ability to be tactful and use good judgment. Strong organizational skills and initiative are required and expected.
