Job Description

Role: Salesforce Project Manager, Full time

Location: NYC, NY - Hybrid


Salesforce PM will:


Resource Management

  • Manage team, allocate task, manage schedule, and monitor progress regularly.
  • Reward and recognize performance.
  • Optimize resource allocation, ramp-up and ramp-downs to ensure project delivery and margins are optimized.
  • Plan and prepare for ad-hoc resource requirements to meet new project requirements or improvements.
  • Work with onsite and offshore resources to ensure projects are delivered as per the committed timelines.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Map out communication protocol and the points of communication between Nagarro and the client and partners.
  • Provide regular status updates to the client via emails, scheduled status meetings, ad-hoc discussions etc.
  • Be the single point of contact (SPOC) for client, team and various support groups.
  • Facilitate regular communication and coordination involving client team with the rest of the development team and answer questions related to project progress, performance, and decisions.


Risk Management

  • Identify and implement risk mitigation actions.
  • Monitor risks, develop and execute risk mitigation plan at completion of every major milestone including project closure.
  • Manage and mitigate project risks, conduct a risk assessment for the project using the governance guidelines and report an assessment of project health and impending risks.


Change Management

  • Follow the change management process to review and accept changes affecting scope, timing, cost, and/or quality, as required and get them signed off from the client


Quality Management

  • Experienced with planning unit testing, system integration testing, UATs, performance testing, mobility and security testing in projects.
  • Understand the expectations of various stakeholders and seeks to satisfy them: client, users, governance group, senior management, team, support groups.
  • Share testing reports and performance testing results with client for acceptance of application meeting client defined acceptance criteria.
  • Responsible for ensuring the quality of the deliverable and client satisfaction.



What you'll bring to Nagarro:


  • Experience of managing projects with at least 2 large scale implementation ($5M+) of IT application development projects
  • Responsible for managing project delivery including scope, RACI, time, cost, quality, human resources, risks & communication.
  • Plan User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with the client team to ensure all business requirements are met
  • Must have experience in managing fixed bid projects using waterfall and agile methodologies.
  • Work with Architect and Technical Lead to prioritize and track project releases and act as an interface between the technical team and the client.
  • Work with QA team to define testing strategy, test plan and timelines.
  • Responsible for managing EV and margins of the project throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Work with business analyst and client for requirement sign offs and define acceptance criteria.
  • Work with client for UAT sign off and project release sign offs.
  • Create work breakdown structure, project plan to track progress, manage project dependencies and critical path, track project milestones, risks and issues.


Previous Salesforce project management experience is a must
