The fund has ~300 employees, 9 core offices, and manages ~$5BN of investor capital.

PM Analytics Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated PM Analytics Analyst to be at the forefront of developing a cutting-edge analytic platform that supports the management of various businesses within our large and diversified multi-strategy hedge fund. Our firm operates across high frequency/systematic and fundamental trading, spanning equities, options, futures, credit products, fixed income, and more. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with portfolio managers, business heads, and firm management, contributing to the creation of industry-leading investment solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on the development of tools and dashboards using our in-house proprietary database and analytics software.
• Facilitate the onboarding of new managers and asset classes by collaborating with PM Services, Tech, Operations, Data Strategy, and Core Infrastructure teams.
• Work alongside the Head of Risk/CRO to communicate risk insights throughout the organization.
• Engage with portfolio managers and business heads to create advanced risk and attribution analytics.
• Provide daily support to portfolio managers and business heads to maintain the reliability and accuracy of the analytics platform.

Qualifications:

• Preferred experience working on Macro, Credit, or Commodities desks.
• Familiarity with finance, trading, or financial markets.
• Ability to work collaboratively in teams, building meaningful relationships to achieve common goals.
• Strong programming skills in script-based languages (Groovy, R, Python, Stata, Matlab) or experience with database languages (SQL, Postgres).
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic and resilience in pursuing objectives.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to tackle complex challenges.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and dynamic environment.
• Proactive and accountable, with a balanced approach of pragmatism and attention to detail.
