The Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Solution Specialist is a unique blend of technical consultant and digital solutions lead that will build and maintain solutions that will scale as the business grows. As part of Gannett’s Marketing Operations team (MOPs), you will lead technical design analysis, execute SFMC based marketing solutions, and document digital architecture. You will also support existing architectures within Salesforce and adjoining data sources in collaboration with internal teams. The successful candidate displays thought leadership, technical prowess, and the ability to balance multiple fast paced projects from inception to completion simultaneously.
BASE SALARY: $65-$95,000/annually
Your Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and resolve problems including data feed issues.
• Ability to gather requirements and translate to technical solutions that can scale across multiple business units.
• Architect data feeds, journey platform configuration, and components needed to run complex automated email campaigns.
• Experience utilizing Journey Builder for advanced multi-business and channel solutions.
• Provide technical effort estimates and timelines.
• Support campaign builds including the code development for email templates, cloud pages, forms, SQL queries, and API integrations.
• Create technical, integration, and data design documentation.
• Develop emails using advanced AMPscript.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with MarTech, Marketing, IT, and Analytics teams to ensure goals are met and data is correct.

Qualifications

• Marketing Cloud Administrator and/or Marketing Cloud Developer certification preferred but not required if offset with work experience.
• Masterful understanding of SFMC data extension architecture, integration capabilities, and automation capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to conceptualize and communicate highly detailed technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• 5+ Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience required
• 5+ Years directly related e-mail/campaign development and integration experience.
• Results driven and able to meet multiple deadlines.
• Deep knowledge and working experience with HTML, SQL, and advanced AMPscript.

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $51,300 and $120,750.  Variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and union representation, if applicable.
