THE ROLE
As a FinancialForce intern you will be fully emerged within our Sales Operations team responsible for a number of key areas, including:
- Gain a good understanding of our FinancialForce Sales mission, business model and day-to-day operations. Help in identifying opportunities to improve and streamline processes of engaging with partners
- Work with Sales Operations and Sales Enablement to streamline continued process improvement efforts
- Create a CRM tracker/dashboard to manage the results of process improvements
- Start and lead a sales process improvement workstream with the FinancialForce Sales organization with the support of a cross functional team
- Develop a map of existing sales operations processes with our CRM workflows and formulate a strategy plan for improvement opportunities.
The role will involve working with one or more internal teams, learning about how they work, and making contributions to their goals and objectives.
You will have a mentor to support, stretch and guide you during your internship.
WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE
Responsibilities will include some or all of the following:
- Run a gap analysis with the outputs being documentation of: current state, R/Y/G of processes, and suggestions on strategic projects or programs to shore up the re-defined processes.
- Working closely with the manager or assigned staff member, and completing all allocated tasks.
- Updating documents and sales records.
- Conducting desktop research, or gathering information through surveys or by speaking to internal clients and staff.
- Keeping a log of everything learned and delivering presentations to staff and other stakeholders.
- Identifying potential weaknesses and offering improvement suggestions.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
- Must be available to start in June
- Interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- You will be an undergraduate on a Business related degree track
- Strong interest in technology and sales
- Rising Junior or Senior
- Attention to detail
- Determined, team player with a can-do attitude and professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Resourcefulness in getting over problems and establishing clarity
- It is important that you have a passion for producing the highest quality work that ultimately makes FinancialForce successful
- Self-motivated and coachable
