Job Description
The Sales Transformation CoE was created in 2022 to help standardize and optimize how Wolters Kluwer drives revenue growth via best practice frameworks focused on go-to-market planning, sales operations, reporting, team structures, pricing, compensation frameworks, etc. We do an interesting mix of strategy and hands-on transformation work across a wide variety of businesses in our portfolio, as well as for Wolters Kluwer as a whole. This role will drive the design and implementation of best practice core sales operations frameworks and partner across the organization on key transformational projects. On a day-to-day basis, this person will report to and work closely with the Vice President of Sales Transformation. Areas of strategic focus will include sales compensation, territory planning, quota setting, metrics and pipeline forecasting, digital sales and use of data and insights to optimize sales effectiveness.


As the Manager of Technology Adoption, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless deployment and value realization of our core sales and marketing technology solutions across all Wolters Kluwer divisions. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the implementation and adoption process, from project planning and scoping to execution, monitoring, and successful delivery and user training. Your primary focus will be on meeting deadlines, maintaining quality standards, and achieving divisional and business unit stakeholder satisfaction. This role requires a blend of sales and marketing technology experience, project management skills, and a deep understanding of sales and marketing business processes to drive successful technology adoption.


In this role you will:


  • Work with IT to ensure effective integration and of sales and markeitng technology with existing systems and applications.
  • Work with IT on the oversight of data migration and provide support to resolve any data-related and integration issues/requirements.
  • Work with Sales Tx consultants and divisional sales, marketing, customer success, product, finance, and technology teams to understand requirements and business objectives driving the need for technology adoption.
  • Provide regular updates to key project steak holders and steering committees regarding project progress, challenges, and successes.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans to validate the functionality and performance of the technology solution.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including project status reports, meeting minutes, and post-implementation evaluations.
  • Keep all stakeholders informed of project progress, changes, and updates.
  • Lead the implementation team in configuring and customizing sales technology solutions to meet client needs.
  • Create adoption plans, training materials and conduct user training sessions for end user teams.
  • Work with divisional sales and marketing operations team to establish adoption plans, training materials and support user training sessions.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify potential challenges and risks, and proactively plan mitigation strategies.
  • Collaboratively develop with both internal support and external partners to develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and milestones.
  • Establish strong communication channels with internal teams, and third-party vendors.


Education and Experience:


  • Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills (team mindset), with ability to lead and work effectively with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, customer success, product, IT) building strong & lasting relationships with partners to drive change in a distributed and decentralized environment.
  • 4+ years of experience in a in sales or marketing technology implementation or related project management roles
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or related field; an advanced degree such as an MBA is a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience with CRM, ICM, MAP, and other technology platforms used in revenue operations.
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities.
  • Certification in project management (PMP or equivalent) is a plus.
