Sales Manager – Home and Personal Care (Remote work)

POSITION OVERVIEW
The role is based in the US and is focused on selling integrated custom-engineered liquid process systems to the Home and Personal Care market.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include:
- Participating in trade shows.
- Continually updating CRM and forecast lists.
- Assisting with writing proposals
- Pre-qualifying sales leads and developing sales opportunities.
- Collaborating with colleagues and industry networking
- Preparing order acceptance documents
- Reviewing RFQs and clarifying customer requirements
- Negotiating Contracts
- Preparing and presenting technical and sales presentations
- Participating in turnover meetings
- Identifying and pursuing sales leads
- Maintaining client contact and managing expectations.
The Sales Manager is responsible for the entire US territory and Canada.
Candidate is envisioned to be home office based on the US. Must be willing/able to travel approx. 50% of the time to visit customers, potential clients, and tradeshows and industry functions.
Your profile and qualifications:
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in Engineering (e.g. Chemical or Mechanical) or equivalent experience in the liquid processing beverage and home and personal care industry.
- Must be willing/able to travel to visit customers, potential clients, tradeshows and industry functions require approximately 50%.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Good interpersonal skills and work well in a team setting as well as independently as required.
- The ideal candidate would have proven experience in selling integrated custom engineered process systems within the beer industry.
- Working knowledge of MS Office products, SAP C4C and Lotus Notes
- Self-motivated and be able to motivate others.
- Detail oriented and have a demonstrated ability to provide timely feedback to both internal and external customers.
