Description
As the (F&B) Sales Engineer for Agilysys, your primary responsibility will be to support the Sales team as a trusted product leader throughout the sales process. You will proactively scope and assess the proper solution required to address customer’s requirements and recommend solutions that optimize value for both the customer and Agilysys.
Your duties will include:
  • Research & Development Support (Product Requirements & Opportunity Reviews)
  • Product Demonstrations & Presentations
  • Company Promotion (Trade Shows & Conferences)
  • Maintain sales demo environment
  • Pre-Sales Support (Requirements Gathering, Solution Definition & RFP Responses)
Requirements for success:
  • Expert knowledge of POS
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer or related customer-facing experience
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Enthusiastic personality and a passion for sales
  • Opportunistically pursue and collaborates with sales to ensure these opportunities are effectively covered and advanced
  • Deep industry knowledge in the Hotel, Resort, Casino and/or Cruise industries
  • Coordinates closely with internal sales and service resources to align solution design with customer’s business requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience
  • Road Warrior: 50%+ travel required
