Job Description

The Sales Communications Specialist is responsible for supporting the Sales employees and their stakeholders through communications solutions. As a strategic business partner, the Sales Communications team is responsible for activating the most effective communications mediums to support successful execution of programs and cultural campaigns that support the business objectives for the Americas’ marketing, sales, and operations groups.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Track and develop analytical reports of various communication mediums’ performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Successfully manage many projects simultaneously.
  • Have a working understanding of Monster Energy’s internal communications ecosystem (i.e. the SharePoint intranet, Microsoft Enterprise Social Network, Internal Print Magazine, meetings and events, etc.)
  • Excel in written and verbal communications and understand the Monster Energy public brand and internal culture and apply proper ‘voice’ to all communications media.
  • Craft and improve communications, both internally(employees) and externally(b2b), that support timely and actionable business objectives.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with interdepartmental clients.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive communications plans for announcements and events, ensuring effective message delivery.
  • Utilize marketing concepts with internal campaign strategies to ensure adoption of messaging and ease of access for sales resources.
  • Effectively manage programs across multiple mediums – campaign management, audience segmentation, and nuances between content types.

Position Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of public relations, communications, and marketing concepts and sales strategy.
  • Levelheaded problem solver with a professional, service-oriented attitude
  • Superb organizational and tracking skills with great attention to detail.
  • Adaptable, dependable and responsible.
  • Possess the organizational skills required to manage multiple projects and deliverables across many teams and organizations.
  • Excel at editing and proofreading, including one's own work.
  • Have experience with and understanding of current communication technology platforms for email distribution, web publishing, photo editing, etc.
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft and Adobe software knowledge preferred).
  • Is a nimble, flexible writer skilled at both starting from a blank piece of paper and refining existing content.
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Have a "dive right in" attitude that can work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, leadership and presentation skills a plus.

Pay Range: $64,600 - $75,400
