Rural Mail Carrier - Subcontractor - Hiring Asap - Winnsboro, La

KD Consulting, LLC, is a Contract Delivery Service Supplier for the United States Postal Service, is currently seeking a Subcontractor to deliver mail on a Rural mail route solicited and posted by the USPS in the Winnsboro, Louisiana area.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age with a valid Louisiana driver's license; able to lift 70 lbs., able to work in all types of weather conditions and must reside in the area.

Qualifications:

• Driver's License (Required)
• Must be able to pass national background check with finger printing
• Able to work in all weather conditions
• Must be able to pass a 10-panel drug test
• Able to lift 70 lbs
• Mail casing experience highly preferred
• Must have a reliable SUV or larger vehicle (See Minimum Vehicle Requirements below)
• Must have 3-5 full years of driving history with a good driving record

Minimum Vehicle and Insurance Requirements:

• One (1) Dependable vehicle or the equivalent that provides 120 cubic feet of usable load space for mail and parcels.
• $100,000/$500,000/$100,000 or $600,000 (CSL) of liability insurance for contract vehicle
• Applicant must furnish vehicle, which meets postal regulations, and meet postal driving requirements.
• The applicant is responsible for all the vehicle maintenance, fuel and insurance cost.

Schedule: Contract Begins 8/16/23

Job Type: 2 Part-Time Positions Available (3 days per week) Monday through Saturday. Government Holidays Observed. OR 1 full time position Monday-Saturday ($4300/ month full time)
Hours: 6:45AM - 4:45 PM or until route is complete
(approximately 10 hours/day depending on volume and carrier efficiency)

Duties and Responsibilities:

USPS Contract Mail Carriers deliver mail to homes and businesses in rural areas across the nation. Our Carriers travel on planned routes, deliver mail and parcels, obtain signatures, and collect outgoing mail along the way. Delivery occurs regardless of the weather, although schedules may be delayed.

Other responsibilities include: sorting mail in delivery sequence for active mailboxes, loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into a delivery vehicle,
delivering mail to customer boxes along assigned line-of-travel and other administrative duties as required.

Compensation:

• $200 vehicle stipend monthly
• Quarterly attendance bonus
• $2,000.00 per month(PT) or $4100 per month (FT)
