Royalties Manager - Music Entertainment

Blendemos LLC is an Executive Search and Recruitment Firm, matching professional talent with hiring leaders in the Music Business, Media Entertainment, and TV/Film Industry.

Our client, a very successful 360 Talent Management, Record Label, Publishing, TV and Film start up business, based in Miami, Florida seeks to hire a Royalties Manager to join the Finance and Operations team.

The ideal candidate is an Artist Royalties Manager, with music and entertainment industry background. This role will report to the CFO and be based out of their Midtown, Miami Headquarters.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

● Maintain royalty processes pertaining to Artist, Producer and other SR participant accountings.

● Analyze contracts related to artists, producers or any third parties, prepare corresponding contract brief summaries and enter royalty terms into system.

● Create new accounts, add related royalty rates, link new product and run reports.

● Ensure all artist royalty contract entries are compliant with internal controls.

● Expense and recoupment analysis as it may relate to royalty accounts.

● Make any necessary system corrections or royalty adjustments.

● Coordinate and complete special projects as assigned and needed.

WHO YOU ARE

● Fluency in Spanish and English is a major plus. (Verbal and written)

● Minimum of 3 years' Music Business, Media Entertainment, or TV and Film Industry work experience.

● Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.

● Bachelor’s degree in the field of business, finance or legal.

● Outstanding organizational and time management skills.

● Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.

● Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.

● Professional and likable personality.
