Rn, Project Specialist, Informatics, Full Time, Day Shift-8 Hr, Clinical Information Systems

Education and Work Experience:

• Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN): Preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Nursing experience: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS OR HS-ACLS OR RQIACLS) certification: Required

Essential Functions:

• Conducts and participates in on going evaluation of information systems and workflows to ensure quality, integrity, availability and appropriate timing of data. Develops strategies to promote and maintain data integrity.
• Participates independently and collectively in all aspects of information systems life cycle management including analysis, design, implementation, maintenance and evaluation.
• Investigates concerns associated with technology and information systems, evaluates clinical and data integrity risks and develops corrective action plan. Escalates project issues or concerns, as needed.
• Applies methods, knowledge, skills and resources independently to achieve identified objectives. Exercises independent judgment in decision-making, and problem solving.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
• Participates in interdisciplinary committees to integrate technology and informatics into operational workflows. Participates in strategic initiatives including outreach activities, such as population health and electronic health record connectivity.
