  • On-Site in Clayton, NC location
  • 7 Month Contract

Responsibilities
  • Assist managers/workers with evaluation of Return to Work criteria and decisions.
  • Provide employees based in the US access to medical and health services with the objective of providing for optimal safe, efficient, and productive operations and optimal employee relations.
  • Regularly contact physicians who are providing non-occupational and occupational medical care and rehabilitation for employees.
  • Consult with the national medical consultant physician, but expected to make decisions based upon a combination of written directives, legal requirements, precedent, CDC guidelines and previous experience.
  • Field calls relating to COVID and return to work.
  • Create medical records including: return to work notes
Requirements
  • Knowledgeable with Excel (Simple Entry)
  • Certification via the American Board of Occupational Health Nursing COHN-S OR COHN is preferred
  • North Carolina RN Active License with no restrictions
  • Good phone skills
  • Graduation from an accredited Nursing program
  • Ability to serve as a site expert medical authority pertaining to medical decisions that need to be made
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in Occupational Health Nursing, medical assessment, emergency medical care, clinic work, and/or public health nursing.
  • Proficient with computers and EMR
