The Risk Management Intern in Nashville, TN at Garney Construction will have the opportunity to learn and assist in all aspects relating to insurance and bonds. To thrive in this role you will need to have a positive attitude and organizational skills. This is a great chance to learn how a Construction Risk Management Team works in a large professional setting. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Track and maintain project specific policies
Obtain extensions or discontinuance of Continuation Bonds
Liaison between the Garney Operations Teams, Coordinators, broker and carriers
Manage statements for open and pending invoices related to bonds and insurance policies
Organize and maintain departmental records and organization
Maintain, update, and distribute various schedules needed for annual insurance renewal REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Willingness to learn
Organizational skills
Customer service oriented mindset
Preferred experience with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) LET'S TALK THE PERKS!
