Job Description

Donovan & Watkins has partnered with a growing company who is seeking a RISK MANAGMENT CLAIMS ADMINISTRATOR who will be gathering and assembling corporate claims from field employees and outside sources to process and manage the life of the claim for the department.

Position is in northwest Houston and moving to Downtown in a few months.


This is not an insurance adjuster role. Looking for corporate workman's comp claims type of background.


Essential Functions

  • Initiate, process, and assist with the management of all types of claims, including, without limitation, worker’s compensation, auto, property, general liability and professional liability, based on predetermined criteria.
  • Manage, maintain and update library of templates, forms and manuals.
  • Suggest and execute improvements and operational efficiencies, effectiveness, and scalability.
  • Ensure that critical risk issues are escalated to the Risk Manager and Senior Management
  • General office and administrative tasks.
  • Support Risk Manager with various administrative needs such as filing, drafting reports, processing payments and creating presentations.
  • Process and serve as a first in line communication for internal business partners on incident and accident reports.
  • Create and maintain electronic claims tracking system for both historical and current risk programs.
  • Investigate facts, collect information, and effectively summarize material as it pertains to risk matters.


Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Ideal candidate would have 3-5+ years of experience administering and/or processing claims.
  • Confidential, excellent communication, organized, positive and confident in presentations to leaders.
  • Familiar with claims management process for a variety of claims including, without limitation, worker’s compensation, auto, property, general liability, and professional liability.
  • Prioritize able to multitask with great customer service skills.


Position is paying up to $70,000 with bonus.

100% working on site. Moving from Greenspoint to Downtown in the first quarter.
