Job Description
Are you looking to take the next step in your financial career? Palmer Group has joined forces with our local Des Moines client in their search for a qualified Retirement Plans Administrator. This role will perform the daily administrative duties of defined contribution and benefit plans. An ideal candidate is an analytical thinker with proven communication skills. Responsibilities:


  • Send participants notice of benefit and distribution options and annual participant statements
  • Review and processing of QDRO forms
  • Communicate directly with plan employers and participants
  • Assist during the annual valuation and audit process
  • Compile and send quarterly forfeiture notices to employees
  • Define the Contribution Plan
  • Communicate directly with plan employers and participants
  • Calculate pension benefits
  • Assist annually with discrimination testing; employer match true-up calculations, and the audit process
  • Process contributions reports, enrollment data, and loan reports


Requirements:


  • Retirement plan or benefits field experience
  • 401K experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, mathematics, or a related field
