Benefits Administrator
This position is responsible for administering and coordinating employee benefit programs including health and accident, dental, life, supplemental life and long-term disability insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts and COBRA programs. The full pay range is $19.69-$29.53/hr. Depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements:Essential Functions and Tasks
- Ensure duties performed are in compliance with all security, audit, regulatory compliance, information security, customer privacy, and Bank Secrecy Act/Customer Identification Program policies and procedures.
- Provide general administrative support to the Human Resources team, as needed. Provide new employee information and materials via email to assist in making elections including health, life, dental, long term disability and supplemental life insurance, Flexible Spending Account, and other programs as required. Act as the back-up presenter to provide information during New Employee Orientation.
- Promote and adhere to the Outward Mindset: See the needs, objectives, and challenges of others, adjust your efforts to be more helpful of others, and measure the impact of your work on others.
- Report regularly to work and returns from breaks and meal periods on time according to the posted schedule.
- Provide outstanding member and employee experiences following the established credit union MX and EX principals.
- Work closely with payroll to ensure accurate and timely employee deductions and employer expense capture for benefits.
- Demonstrate highest levels of customer service, confidentiality and discretion when dealing with the internal and external members.
- Prepare related insurance reports and records and maintain files as required. Prepare and submit all carrier claims and invoices for payments along with proper documentation to ensure eligibility of new employees or qualified events.
- Maintain well-developed working knowledge of the assigned duties and job functions; keep up to date and request additional training and/or development as needed.
- Prepare monthly audits on enrollment and communicates issues with Benefit Administrator and/or insurance carriers.
- Act as a liaison between employees and insurance companies to research and resolve problems with enrollments, lost ID cards, etc. Confer with the Benefits Administrator for escalated situations.
- Assist new employees with completing benefit enrollment processes using the Paylocity WebBenefits center. Review and approve online benefits’ enrollment system changes ensuring the accuracy and security of benefits and participant information, and the transmission of data to vendors through data feeds.

- High school graduate or GED

- 1+ years of related admin experience
Education and Experience Preferred:

- 3+ years of customer service experience
- HR or Accounting Experience
- 1+ years of experience with Paylocity HRIS
Education
- AA or BA Degree in a related field

This position is eligible for Full-Time, Temporary benefits. Full-Time, Temporary employees are only eligible for medical insurance. Full-Time, Temporary employees will be eligible to accrue sick time only at the Full-Time accrual rate.
