Job Description
Pickle is a rental marketplace that aims to monetize the billions of underutilized assets sitting in consumers closets and brands inventory. Users can easily tap into shared closets within their community through flexible and/or on-demand delivery options. Our goal is to provide affordable and convenient access to quality items exactly when our users need them. We are starting with P2P clothing/accessories and expanding to other categories.


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Retail Store Manager to lead the operations of our physical storefront. The Store Manager will play a pivotal role in creating an exceptional in-store experience for our customers, overseeing inventory management, and driving rental conversions while emphasizing the unique value propositions of our platform. The storefront will function as a part showroom and part creative studio so this candidate will also be responsible for scheduling and managing events, appointments, and collaborations with influencer and brand partners in our store.


Requirements


  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Previous experience in fashion retail, rental services, or the fashion industry is a plus
  • Creativity and a keen eye for visual merchandising and store aesthetics
  • Experience as a Retail Store Manager, preferably within a fashion retail environment or peer-to-peer marketplace
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Flexibility to work on evenings or weekends as required by store hours
  • Proficiency in using POS systems, inventory management software, and basic office applications
  • Strong understanding of fashion trends, styles, and customer preferences
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze sales data and make data-driven decisions


Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute in-store promotional events, sales, and special campaigns to drive foot traffic and boost sales
  • Lead and manage all aspects of the physical retail store, including staff management, customer service, visual merchandising, and daily operations
  • Implement and uphold Pickle’s brand identities and values in the physical storefront
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards, ensuring that product displays are visually appealing, organized, and effectively showcase the managed closets
  • Build and maintain relationships with fashion designers, local influencers, and other industry stakeholders to enhance the store's visibility and partnerships
  • Prepare regular reports on store performance, sales metrics, and customer feedback for the management team
