Who we're looking for:


We're looking for a Retail Operations Specialist to join our rapidly growing Store team. You'll primarily be responsible for managing daily operations for our ecommerce platform the Rover Store, which sells our Rover Gear flagship line of products and other pet essentials for dog owners. In addition, you'll also be responsible for inventory management for our Rover Gear line across all sales channels. Ideally, you'll also have experience with using Shopify or a similar ecommerce platform.


Your Responsibilities:


  • Assist with ad-hoc requests related to operations, merchandising and marketing needs
  • Work with fulfillment warehouse and customer service teams to ensure smooth order flows, investigate shipping issues, and troubleshoot customer escalations for ecommerce store
  • Conduct day-to-day operations including order management, processing returns, and troubleshooting inventory issues.
  • Manage customer facing updates to our Shopify ecommerce platform, including product launches, creating landing pages, and optimizing existing products and pages
  • Manages all escalations directly with customers from our Amazon storefront.
  • Maintain inventory health and execute replenishment orders for merchandise across all sales channels.
Your Qualifications:


  • Effective communication skills across the organization. Excellent at building and maintaining strong relationships, both internal and external
  • 2-4 years of direct-to-consumer (DTC) ecommerce experience, with knowledge and experience in Shopify platform management
  • Self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years experience in operations or customer service.
  • You enjoy a fast-paced environment that is constantly evolving, and have an ability to remain calm under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Resourceful, detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and balance competing priorities

Compensation:


  • The cash compensation offered for this role will be dependent on the candidate's experience, qualifications, skills and abilities as demonstrated in the interview and hiring process
  • In the greater Seattle area the first year salary range is $64,811 - $83,525. Additionally Rover offers equity (RSU’s) and benefits to all employees
