Position Overview

The sales associate position is responsible for consistently creating a welcoming environment for the customer by focusing on greeting and assisting; as well as quickly responding to customer inquiries and needs. A sales associate is also responsible for maintaining the store’s clean and organized appearance, restocking items, and checking out customers. Our associates are expected to stay up-to-date on knowledge of our products and promotions to answer customer questions.

Essential Job Functions

• Assist in providing guest service, housekeeping, display and signage maintenance and replenishing merchandise as needed.
• Conduct guest returns, exchanges, check authorization, and employee sales; assures the completion of all POS transactions and the proper control of all cash and media at the POS registers according to company policies and procedures.
• Ensure that each guest receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every guest, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest service.

• Operational Excellence - Possess a high level of attention to detail. Do the right thing, the right way, every time.
• Required to work some nights, weekends, holidays, and all home football games (or big events related to A&M).

Other Skills/Abilities

• Frequently lift and/or move items over 20 pounds
• Active position: standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and crawling on concrete floors
