Role Overview
Castle High Value is seeking motivated independent contractors to join our team. Operating from your own home or office, you will undertake both virtual and physical survey assignments in the Augusta, ME area, and locations within a 70 – 100 mile radius of Augusta. Additional opportunities exist across the state of Maine.
Qualifications
While experience in real estate, insurance, inspection, construction, or appraising is advantageous, we encourage all interested candidates to apply.
Certification is attainable through a 15-hour online training course.
Compensation is negotiable, contingent on experience and specific project demands.
Responsibilities
Your role entails conducting comprehensive high value home property surveys for homeowners' insurance purposes. This involves scheduling and executing site-based and virtual surveys according to your availability, managing accepted assignments, and utilizing strong computer skills to complete reports online.
Primary Responsibilities
Engage professionally with homeowners and insurance agents via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
Execute on-site and virtual property surveys, adhering to customer-specific guidelines and procedures.
Document the construction characteristics, materials, and unique features of homes.
Acquire accurate measurements of homes and other property structures.
Determine estimated replacement values and identify significant hazards.
Utilize provided web-based client forms via the Castle website to communicate survey findings.

Measuring tools (laser, 100 ft. tape, or measuring wheel)
