Perform a variety of technical duties involved in conducting standardized tests, experiments and determinations in support of research- oriented activities.

Job Duties
Releases R&D and GMP raw materials
Material inventory management, stocking, handling invoices, etc. Assures that the activities are coordinated with other MSCTC staff conducting R&D experiments as well as production of clinical material
Prepares and reviews standard operating procedures related to analytical operations within the Center
Maintains the equipment in working condition and assures the calibration and validation of laboratory equipment
Assists in release testing and stability study analysis of clinical supply materials in compliance with GMP operations.
In conjunction with Quality Assurance, conducts investigation, identifies and implements corrective and preventive actions related to development and production of clinical materials
Evaluates analytical results to assure data integrity, provide interpretation of results related to R&D studies, release testing of clinical materials and stability studies.
Participates effectively in standing and special meetings as assigned.
Assist in ordering supplies and performing duties that contribute to the effective operation of the center.
Conducts product release testing when required. Prior experience with RT-PCR is essential.
Ensure testing is completed and in compliance for CAR-T products for clinical trials and other duties as assigned.

Compensation Statement:
The pay range listed for this position is determined by our compensation program using market data and salary benchmarking. A combination of factors is considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, education, experience and training, qualifications relative to the requirements of the position, and funding. At the University of Kansas Medical Center, a reasonable estimate for the starting pay range will be the minimum to midpoint of the posted range, taking into account the combination of factors listed above.
